When I first started out on making a song for my university class, I was asking a lot of both the song and my songwriting process. I wanted it to be called 'Textural Bonds', involve my peers in some way, and be 'funky, groovy, and imaginative.' This is the result of about a year of toiling away and then deciding it's time to 'MOVE ON'. I did my best to capture my art student experience and the lasting impression that this eclectic group of beautiful, creative, and resilient 'babies' has left me with. The track features the voices of several of my peers from short voice memos along with the sounds of drills, a coffee grinder, tape, and the white noise of our fourth year studio.
