A book lies on the table in the library, just an ordinary book. Until its majesty comes alive while people gather to study. This painting is a devotion to the process of becoming illuminated with knowledge. Metaphorically, shapes and elements become abstracted the farther away they are from the books, which I think of as symbols of truth and wisdom in this painting.
