Is it about power, feminism and labour? Those with voices? The ideas of listening and being heard? I think so, but the SUPER EXECUTIVE PODIUM started as a way to collaborate with my friends and family in a joyful way. The painting of the podium contains contributions from my peers. A song plays in headphones resting on top of the podium, so visitors can step up to the podium and listen. The song “Descending String of Chord Lines” contains backing vocal contributions from my family.
